We are pleased and excited to once again be offering an upcoming working weekend of K9 training with Canada’s very own Stephen Kemick of K9 Intel. Steve brings well over 2 decades of solid experience & expertise in competitive sport work in IGP and canine training. He has successfully competed at multiple IGP/Schutzhund regional, national, and world events and has titled numerous dogs in his years in the sport. Stephen demonstrates highly supportive coaching techniques along with a positive and encouraging attitude while doing so.
While this seminar is primarily geared to competitive IGP/Schutzhund handlers, we do welcome any level trainer and do have some limited availability for entry level & companion pet obedience handlers as well. Overall, this will be a fantastic seminar suitable for any handlers at any levels of training (beginner, advanced, trial prep/finished dogs working on additional fine tuning of their skill sets etc). If you have been interested in starting in dog sports but have not formally started yet, this is the perfect opportunity! It is additionally suitable for handlers who are currently training in other venues that involve obedience (PSA, CKC obedience, etc). This is a perfectly timed event to get some trial prep work and coaching in for the upcoming trial season.
The hosts of this event are experienced competitive handlers who are titled in IGP (Schutzhund) and who have over 30 years of combined experience. As your hosts, we are committed to assisting any interested individuals however we can and providing any needed support prior to and during the event.
